Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms carefully. By engaging LN Events for any service, submitting an inquiry, or signing a service agreement, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Client”, “you”) and LN Events (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a professional event management company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

These Terms govern all services provided by LN Events including event planning, event management, decoration, entertainment coordination, photography/videography, and all associated services.

These Terms should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.

2. Our Services

LN Events provides professional event management services including but not limited to:

  • Wedding event planning and management
  • Corporate events (conferences, product launches, award nights)
  • Social gatherings (birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers)
  • Entertainment shows and concerts
  • Event décor and theme execution
  • Photography and videography coordination
  • Vendor management and coordination
  • Guest management and hospitality

The specific scope of services for your event will be detailed in the individual Service Agreement / Proposal provided to you upon booking.

3. Booking & Confirmation

3.1 Inquiry & Proposal

Submitting an inquiry does not constitute a booking. We will respond with a customized proposal within 48–72 hours. Proposals are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

3.2 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when:

  1. You have accepted the written proposal or Service Agreement in writing (email confirmation accepted)
  2. The advance payment / booking deposit has been received and cleared

Until both conditions are met, your event date is not reserved and may be offered to other clients.

3.3 Date Exclusivity

Once a booking is confirmed with advance payment, LN Events commits exclusively to your event on the agreed date(s) and will not accept conflicting bookings for the same date in the same city.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Schedule

Standard payment schedule for all bookings:

  • Booking Advance (25–50%): Due at time of booking confirmation to secure the date
  • Mid-Stage Payment (25–50%): Due 30 days before the event date
  • Final Payment (balance): Due 7 days before the event date

Exact percentages will be specified in your individual Service Agreement. Custom payment plans may be arranged upon mutual agreement in writing.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), cheque (Mumbai local), and cash (up to ₹2,00,000 as per Income Tax Act). All payments should be made to the account details provided in your invoice.

4.3 GST & Taxes

All prices are exclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax) unless explicitly stated otherwise. GST will be charged as per applicable rates and reflected in all invoices. A valid GSTIN will be provided on all tax invoices.

4.4 Late Payment

Payments not received by the due date may result in suspension of planning activities. LN Events reserves the right to charge a late fee of 2% per month on overdue amounts. If final payment is not received 7 days before the event, we reserve the right to suspend on-site services until payment is cleared.

5. Cancellation Policy

⚠️ Cancellation of a confirmed booking results in forfeiture of advance payments as per the schedule below. Please review carefully before confirming your booking.

60–89 days before event 40% of total booking value
30–59 days before event 60% of total booking value
15–29 days before event 80% of total booking value
Less than 15 days before event 100% of total booking value (no refund)

5.1 Cancellation by LN Events

In the rare event that LN Events must cancel due to circumstances within our control, we will provide a full refund of all payments made and make reasonable efforts to recommend alternative service providers.

5.2 Postponement

If you wish to postpone your event date, we will accommodate one date change at no additional fee, subject to availability, if notice is given at least 30 days before the original event date. Subsequent date changes may attract a rescheduling fee of ₹10,000 or 5% of booking value, whichever is higher.

6. Event Changes

Minor changes to the event scope (e.g., adding décor elements, changing menu items) can be accommodated up to 14 days before the event. Significant changes (venue, date, guest count above 20% variation, major scope addition) may result in revised pricing and require a revised agreement. All changes must be confirmed in writing.

By engaging LN Events and submitting your contact details, you acknowledge and agree to the following communication terms:

7.1 WhatsApp Communication

If you have checked the WhatsApp consent option on our contact form or service agreement, you explicitly consent to receive WhatsApp messages from LN Events including event updates, proposals, confirmations, reminders, and service-related communications. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP or emailing us.

7.2 SMS & RCS Communication

If you have opted in to SMS or RCS communications, you consent to receive text messages and rich media messages for booking confirmations, event reminders, payment notifications, and service alerts. LN Events complies with TRAI guidelines for all commercial SMS communications. Opt-out by replying STOP to any message.

7.3 Voice Calls

If you have opted in to voice call consent, you authorize LN Events and our designated team members to call you on the provided mobile number for event consultations, follow-ups, planning discussions, and service-related purposes between 9 AM–8 PM IST, Monday–Saturday.

7.4 Consent Independence

Consent to one communication channel is independent of others. You may opt into or out of any channel without affecting others. Withdrawal of communication consent does not affect the validity of any active service agreement.

7.5 Service Communications

Irrespective of communication channel consent, we may send critical service communications (e.g., event day emergency updates) via any available channel as necessary for service delivery.

8. Client Obligations

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information required for event planning
  • Make payments on time as per the agreed schedule
  • Obtain necessary permissions and NOCs for the venue (unless venue procurement is part of our scope)
  • Inform us promptly of any changes to event requirements
  • Ensure access to the event venue at agreed times for our team and vendors
  • Not engage conflicting vendors for services within LN Events’ agreed scope without prior written consent
  • Ensure guest safety and compliance with venue rules and local regulations
  • Provide a single point of contact for decision-making to avoid conflicting instructions

9. Vendor & Venue Terms

9.1 Third-Party Vendors

LN Events coordinates with third-party vendors (caterers, photographers, decorators, etc.) on your behalf. While we carefully select our vendor partners, we are not liable for the independent actions, failures, or negligence of third-party vendors beyond our reasonable control. Each vendor may have their own terms and conditions which will apply alongside ours.

9.2 Venue

If venue selection and booking is within our scope, we will assist with recommendations and coordination. However, the final venue contract is typically between you and the venue directly. Venue-specific rules, damage deposits, and force majeure clauses of the venue will apply independently.

9.3 Vendor Substitution

In exceptional circumstances (vendor cancellation, emergency), LN Events reserves the right to substitute a vendor with one of equivalent quality and price. We will notify you immediately and seek your approval before substitution wherever time permits.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 Event Photography & Video

Photos and videos from your event are your property. By accepting our services, you grant LN Events a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use images and videos from your event for our portfolio, website, and marketing materials — unless you explicitly request confidentiality in writing before the event.

10.2 Event Concepts & Designs

Creative concepts, décor designs, theme proposals, and event plans prepared by LN Events remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Sharing or replicating our designs without payment or written permission is prohibited.

11. Liability & Force Majeure

11.1 Limitation of Liability

LN Events’ maximum liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total fees paid by you for the specific event in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages including but not limited to emotional distress, loss of enjoyment, or third-party losses.

11.2 Force Majeure

LN Events shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, government orders, pandemics, strikes, riots, war, civil unrest, power failures, or acts of God (“Force Majeure Events”).

In the event of a Force Majeure situation, we will:

  • Notify you promptly in writing
  • Make reasonable efforts to find alternative solutions
  • Work with you on a fair settlement for any prepaid amounts

11.3 Client-Side Risks

LN Events is not responsible for: guest behavior or accidents during the event, venue infrastructure failures, weather conditions for outdoor events, or governmental restrictions imposed after booking confirmation.

12. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive business information, pricing discussions, and personal details shared during the course of engagement. LN Events will not disclose your personal event details, guest lists, or budget information to unauthorized third parties.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or our services, both parties agree to:

  1. Negotiation: First attempt to resolve the matter through direct communication within 15 days of the dispute arising
  2. Mediation: If negotiation fails, submit to mediation by a mutually agreed mediator in Mumbai
  3. Arbitration: If mediation fails, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India), with a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement

Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
